Bored again, blog time. xD

Trying to think of what I've been up to...not much. Been going MJ crazy LOL. Found an MP3 disc with his Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, HIStory and Blood on the Dancefloor albums. Jeez, I never realised these albums had been out for that long LOL.

Who watched his memorial and cried?! *raises hand* I don't know why I got that upset LOL! I was fine until they sang Heal the World and when Paris spoke it got so bad that I was sobbing into my tissue lollll. Still have trouble listening to Man in the Mirror, Heal The World and Earth Song. *sigh*

Mum also found his Ghosts film from I think '96, it's great lol the dancing is awesome. :D As well as this "Dangerous: The Short Films" VCD. (MJ called his music videos short films) That one's cool, it has the videos of the songs released from Dangerous, the 'making of' for a few of them and some extra tidbits. :3 Shitty VCD quality though LOL.

I also downloaded a word file of Michael's 1988 autobiography, 'Moonwalker' ahah. It's a good read, nice to get some insight. c: Got some interesting stuff. Would have been cool if he had a more recent one, but It's understandable because he probably wouldn't want to write about the stuff that happened to him in his later years. :/

Aaand the last couple of nights I've been reading summaries of each day of Michael's 2004/2005 trial LOL. I thought it was interesting, especially seeing (reading?) MJ's defence attourneys poking holes in the prosecutions witnesses/testimonies etc. I'd say they were pretty much pwned.

Made me emo for a while though lol, poor MJ. :c He just seemed like such a genuinely sweet and caring person who was naive and had some people walk all over him and the media crap all over him. :[ Not to mention how devastated his children must be, losing their father at such a young age.

I hope they get to the bottom of his death (people are talking murder, now? Jesus) so all the media circus around him can let him rest already (and justice - if those drugs did kill him). I don't know what news is true and what is pure bullshit anymore. ><;;

On a lighter note lolll, getting closer to the next Harry Potter movie! I still think I only saw the previous one once haha, I was really mad at what was changed/absent in the movie. Ah well. Gotta remember to pre-order tickets!!! Yay.

We now have three DVD's from the 90's X-Men TV show! Wootage. :D Storm, Rogue and Gambit are love. I like Jean but she seems pretty useless at the moment LOL. It's all *aauugh!* and *trip-fall*'s. -___-;;

It must have been around 8am when Mum came into my room Friday morning, woke me up and said with disbelief "they're saying on the news that Michael Jackson is dead!" I was barely awake and just said "Oh my god!" and fell back asleep, LOL. I didn't think it was true, really. Along with the Jeff Goldblum death rumor that day, haha...

I read his Wikipedia page throughout today and I'm sad now, heh. (Lisa Marie's MySpace blog, baw :c) Along with this supposed "leak" of his autopsy report is... really sad. There's a lot of stuff I'd never known about.

Gosh I feel sorry for him - I don't believe that child molestation stuff (a mental health professional's assessment was he'd become a regressed 10-year-old and did not fit the profile of a pedophile - sounds more likely to me, as well of the fact he was acquitted of all charges) and I got really frustrated at how people could take advantage of someone because of their generosity and wealth. And it affected him so much he resorted to medication? :/

I know I wasn't the hugest fan and he was definitely an individual lol, but still. Depressing.

I've been listening to my favourite MJ songs for a couple of nights heheh, ahh nostalgia! His music was a lot of what was played by Mum and Dad when we were young (along with Tina Arena, Shania Twain, Bryan Adams, Garth Brooks and ABBA to name a few) so his songs have a lot sentimental value. I remember playing around with Ness and Kim when we were little to his songs, good times. ^^ And of course watching his movie Moonwalker with them LOL.

Alsooo, seeing Transformers 2 tomorrow! I went with Danielle and Mum to see the first showing last Wednesday and it was AWESOME. Skids, Mudflap and Wheelie FTW. And so many more hehe. Of course it's not Oscar worthy, but I really enjoyed it. :3

Ohoh Terrie's out of hospital now! Yay. She had the operation on the tumor in her head and everything seems to be going well now - she doesn't even need any radiation treatment. Will be seeing her on Saturday with Sarah. :) Got her the first three Vampire Academy books as well, just to give her a little somethin' somethin' lol. Hope she likes 'em.

If you know me well I'm pretty sure you'd know I'm pretty nostalgic. :P

Over the last few nights I've been reading my old blog on my MSN Space - friggen LOL. I have some really annoying typos in there. But I love reading them, really takes me back. :) Especially when I flipped through my old diaries from late '02 - '03, which I've just done! xDDD Wow.

When I look back to when I was in high school - comparing it to today, I always got wistful and wish I could go back to those days. But after reading the blog/diary entries I sort of got a figurative slap in the face from my past self LOL, god I whined about school a lot. Not the hangin' with friends part, just school itself ahah. Especially around the year 11/12 mark. I was constantly going on about how I hated school and I just wanted it to be over with alreaddyyy ahahah.

It gets me down though LOL remembering how much fun I had with friends - having a ball fangirling with Jodie over Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings/Final Fantasy/Project Zero etc., hanging at the local horse stable with Krystal, zillions of sleepovers (w00t), Ouija Board shenanigans, Rundle Mall visits and the massively fun times I had in '05/'06 with Terrie, Sarah, Angelo, Kim and others (late night gaming and park visits FTW xDD). c:

I see barely any friends these days, heh.

Sigh.

Good times, I miss 'em. (:

It's had it's ups and downs, of course. There were a lot of dramas between friends - even some I had with my own friends, fallout's, bickering, etc. Some I'd completely forgotten about until I'd re-read them bahah. I got really emo too, eek. Don't remember what was going on with that. xD

I've even kept old diaries and random notes written/drawn with friends during school because I like to go back and have a laugh while looking at them. Not to mention MSN conversations. x3 I lovelove looking at old photographs with friends, too. ^___^

Maybe I spend a little too much time looking back, hmm? :/

Hmmm a little while since I blogged. Lol I'm bored, so away I go!

Sydney was awesome (forgot how much I hate flying OMG) - the convention was amazing. :D There were a few things that put a damper on the experience, like me looking hooorrrible in the photos with Jensen and Jared LOL augghh I emo'd so much when I saw 'em. Ah well. Also the fact that J2 were sitting, not standing, made it really awkward for me ahah. *note awkward hand on Jensen's shoulder*

Got a nice smile from both boys, Jared especially! He's very friendly and seems to make it a point to look and smile at the people he gave autographs too. Whereas with Jensen it was a shy quick-glance-smile kinda thing. :P

Everything seemed to be really disorganized and chaotic too, (apparently it was a lot better on Sunday - sigh) with things being delayed, and the late delivery of the photos and such, but everything else was great. It was understandable with this being one of The Hub's largest events :) Misha Collins is HILARIOUS (as are the boys ;P). Gawd. And my photos were okay, I guess. :P The whole weekend was recorded by The Hub and I'm awaiting the DVD in the mail! ^___^

We didn't end up going to Bondi Beach like we'd planned, because of the cruddy weather - rained nearly the whole time we were there. We got soaked at Taronga Zoo LOL that place is bloody huge! Have to say I enjoyed Melbourne Zoo a lot better. *nodnod* Still fun though! And the area with the seals/penguins looks amazing. They have like, three Snow Leopards! *love*

Worst part of the whole trip was - like Melbourne, the hotel room. We were *right* on a relatively busy intersection so there were a lot of people being idiots in cars, car horns constantly going off, pedestrian crossing sounds, people yelling/screaming/singing/breaking things/etc etc. Augh. But we were about a five minute walk from the Uni where the SuperOzCon was, so that made up for it somewhat, heheh.

Bring on another conventionnn! Although I don't have the money for it LOL. U_U;;

Um...what else...

Ah, The Sims 3! Love it. Although my computer hates it. I need to update my graphics driver thing but when Dad downloaded the update it wouldn't work ><;; damn computerssss. Danielle isn't having much problems, but mine is constantly crashing and it's killing me LOL.

Oh yeah, my damn monitor! I now can't see about two inches on the right side of the screen - happened when I was using Photoshop (same size as the layers window). Totally weird. I have the LCD attached so I'm using that for my monitor now. But anyways, It's a really fun game! Love the new 'Create A Sim'. Although there are some little things missing from The Sims 2 that I miss. My sim is a 'Hit Movie Composer' hehe yay. I love that you can put your own music in the game, too. *puts in movie soundtracks* x3

Danielle and I are watching Charmed - up to season five now! We bought two of the box sets because Blockbuster couldn't find one (season two) and the other was out for another week (season five) which was okay 'coz we got 'em for like $25. ^^ There's other shows I'd like to watch, like One Tree Hill, Ghost Whisperer, among others I can't think of at the moment!)

Also bought Nickelback and Kings of Leon's newest albums - loving them! KoL's 'Closer' is one of my favourite songs and I recently found out it's about a vampire falling in love with a human girl, written after one of the guys saw 30 Days of Night. :3 Haven't seen that one, but Mum enjoyed it. Plus the director from the movie is directing Eclipse! Ooooh lol.

Speaking of which - The ~New~ New Moon trailer = AWESOME. I love iittt. I need to get it in HD! Darn bandwidth limit...

Went driving todaaayy eek. thirty-something hours down and I'm still a shitty/nervous/etc driver aughhh. Mum wants me to drive her Lancer because she thinks the Accent "carries on like a bucket of shit!" lol. I just think the acceleration is kinda sucky (sounds like it's dying when I put my foot down LOL - needs to be tuned?) and the steering wheel is shakey. *shrug*

Louie is being as adorable as ever (although he's had weird episodes and taken chunks of peoples skin with him! Not fun). He now knows how to "shake" and we're kinda teaching him to put his wings up/let us touch his wings, which is for when we *eventually* get our Aviator Harness for him (*squee*). :D He says a bunch of things now, like "What's that?", "Whatcha doin'?" (sounds like "What ya doin'?" hee.), different types of giggles, "kiss kiss! *kissy noise*", "Ready?" (or "readyreadyreadyREADYREADY?" LOL) "Boo!", "Yaaay!" and a bunch of silly noises we make , haha. I'm sure there's stuff I missed.

We've been searching a lot of pet shops lately (as far as past the city) and *finally* found a place that sells pellets! (that aren't Passwell or whatever it is) Jeez. It's at the New Gepps X HQ (is that right?) pet shop called Pet Domain. It's pretty awesome, I'd looove to work somewhere like that. (: Louie's still figuring out what's what and Roxie is of course suspicious of the new food in her bowl and barely touches it. *shakes head* -____-;;

I really need to get out of this house with friends or *some*thing, I'm going a little stir crazy here LOL. *fails at life*

It's my last night in Adelaide before Sydney, eeekk! Wow, time really flew since October.

There were a lot of plans changed, though. Sarah pretty much bailed on us, saying she couldn't afford it (after planning since *October last year*). I'm guessing she assumed she'd get the governments-stimulus-package-money-whatever, except she hasn't got it yet. :P And maybe just lost interest in it. I sure haven't!

Mum's taken her place now. Airports sure are a pain in the ass with not changing passenger names! We'll be staying another night because the only airfare left for Sunday was waaay too expensive. Also managed to get another night in the same hotel, in the same room, which is good.

We'll be flying out at 12pm, with a car picking us up at 9:45am. Sooo psyched now. Shotgunned the window seat! I also found out today that someone on the Supernatural (Channel Ten) forum is going to be on the same flight as us. ^^

With two days to burn (we leave on Monday at 4:25pm), we'll be going to Taronga Zoo on Sunday and a quick run to Bondi Beach on Monday. Yay! The weather doesn't look very nice though, which "a shower or two/possible showers" set for the whole weekend. |:

Also found out Hub made a rule for a maximum of one extra person (with just the one guest) per photograph, and only one person per 'Supernatural Sandwich' (photo with J&J). So that's kinda lucky Sarah didn't come - she'd be pissed if she couldn't get in a photo that she partly paid for! But it's sad that Mum can't be in the photo too. I said she could get the autographs and meet them but she said it was all for us anyway, heh.

The other day I found this site that has uploaded all of Season 4 online for a small size and I've been downloading as much as I can before the trip LOL. I have them all except one because it's been blocked and the site runner hasn't got it back up yet. At least I won't be spoiled when people ask spoiler-y questions now. :D

And OMG I got my hair cut. If you take a look at Phoebes (sp?) hair in Charmed (which we finally found at Blockbuster, YAY!) at about the end of season 1, I *wanted* it like that. But because I'm an idiot, I didn't bring a picture and...I don't like it. LOL. It's shorter than I pointed out and the layers are too short augh (she said she'd cut "long layers" hmm). And it the layering at the front especially (like my fringe) looks shoddy to me. Sigh. "It's just hair" like Mum says, I guess.

I'm nearly packed and ready! Just gotta put things like toiletries, hair dryer/straightener, hair brushes/products etc. in and I'm all set. Also got another memory stick (2GB this time!) thing for our camera because we're not bringing the laptop and there's no way I want to run out of space on the thing, lol.

Hope I can get a decent amount of sleep tonight, eee!

Thought I'd do some bloggin', but I haven't really done anything interesting to blog about, LOL. Sigh.

Did go out a couple of times, gaaassp. Mainly shopping though.

Went to the Glenelg with a bunch of friends which was awesome when I actually went into the water, lol. Went again (Semaphore though - not as good as Glenelg IMO) on Saturday with Mum, Dad and Danielle, too. It was cold when we first got there, but the sun came out for a little while so I managed a little bit of swimming. x3 The water was *freezing* though. I managed to get sunburned too, the one place I forgot sunscreen - my face! And I was wearing sunnies dammit! -_____-;;

Had a movie night on Friday! Can't remember the last time we had one of those - must be over a year! Angelo, Terrie and Sarah came over and we mainly just talked about random stuff and watched Taken (and whatever was on TV after that). It was cool, I hadn't seen Angelo in a looong time, and had hung out with Terrie only a couple of times at her new place and in hospital (got some serious stuff going on with some tumors :/) Hopefully can do it again sometime, it was fun. I was still getting over a cold so I kept leaving the room to blow my nose ahah, I didn't talk much...stupid froggy voice. Well not that I do anyways, LOL!

I got my L's renewed - again...lol. So sad. Driving is still scary! :| But the sooner I get my license, the sooner I can get a job (public transport = eek) and the sooner I can get moneeyyy haha. ^^;; $20 a week sucks, especially when it's all put away to save for the Sydney trip. I still want to go see Watchmen darn it, and that 17 Again looks good.

Speaking of Sydney, our 12:50pm flight from Syd back to Adelaide was cancelled and then moved to a 6:30am flight. *Not* cool. Since we can even check out that early...prompting a call from Dad which then changed to Mum who got her frustration across, haha. Seems the only other flight is 4:30pm. The hotel we're staying out has checkout at 10am, meaning we'd have to carry our luggage around all day, unless the hotel could hold it for us. Hope so, anyway. Under a month to go! And still waiting for Supernatural to come back on Channel Ten. >:[

Recently I've been hooked on the TV show Bondi Rescue, which follows the lifeguards patroling Bondi Beach in Sydney. I think it's pretty cool, lol. We have the first three seasons on DVD now, haha. Good stuff. It's not too far away from our Sydney hotel, so we could make a little trip down there - especially if we have the 4:30pm flight on Sunday. :3 Hopefully it's not too cold.

We've had Louie for nearly three months now! So he'd be about five months old now, not that we got a hatchdate (haha), that would have been cool. He's started to talk more and more these days, which is so adorable. He makes kissy noises and says "Good booyyy!", "Boo!" and he's starting to say "kiss kiss!" and "clap clap!" because we'd randomly clap when he did good stuff to excite him, haha. We got him some new toys too. ^____^ He's really shy around new people though (Daniel scared him LOL), so he just kinda sits there most of the time, all ".____." lol.

Haven't blogged in over a month, hmm.

Haven't been up to much (surprise, surprise!) really.

Went to the Zoo with Sarah and Danielle, that was fun. Sarah got to use her new (pink!) camera that she got for Christmas. It's quite different there now, stuff is being built and moved around/taken away to make way for the Panda's coming in October. Woot woot!

Had a look at the Adelaide Museum too, for the dinosaur exhibit they had going on. Cool stuff. I'd love to do stuff like that - be an archaeologist or paleontologist or something. Except I never did science/biology/etc in high school. xD Lol fail.

What else...oh! Danielle, Sarah and I finally bought our plane tickets for Sydney. It's starting to set it in now. :D Also, Misha Collins is joining us, too! (He plays the Angel, Castiel fyi.) Pretty awesome. Except neither Sarah or Danielle wants to split a $40 a get a photo with him, darn. Oh well, I'm happy with my pics with J & J. :D A little over two months to go!

Sarah also turned 20 in January. We went and had dinner with her and Mum and Dad at the Bombay Bicycle Club. They had a really yummy steak! It looked tiny, but I juuust managed to eat everything. xD Yum.

Came back from a mini holiday to Port Hughes this past weekend, too. Sarah was going with another friend, but there were some problems going on with her, so Sarah made out they would cancel and asked us to go instead, LOL! We left on Friday night, hung out on the beach on Sat and went out to dinner at the local pub and came home on Sunday.

The beach was bloody windy though (and we all managed to get really sunburned haha), so that kinda ruined it a bit. Couldn't put the shade tent up that we'd brought because it was so windy (though there was big one there already) and we kept getting whipped by the sand, haha ooww. Not to mention the beach was choppy, and me not liking waves kinda lowered the fun factor! LOL. :| Was still a really good time, though. I'd go again. :)

Too lazy to upload all photos, though I have an album uploaded with them on my Facebook. :P

I've finally started reading Vampire Academy! We have the three books that are currently released (another one is coming out later this year, I think) and I've nearly finished the first, really enjoying it. n____n

Louie is still the cutest thing ever. Had him around...a month and a half, I'd say. He's hilarious. He's starting to mumble words now! I'm a proud momma! *squishes him*

Although we had a close call almost two weeks ago. He jumped/flew (wing is still clipped) out of his cage to Missy's feet, which caused her to jump and she must have partially squished him because he made this weird screechy noise. :|

I screamed REALLY loudly lol, quickly picked him up and put him back in his cage. I was so scared because I'd heard stories about birds dieing from being stepped on. D: But I guess lucky for us it was Missy, she's light on her feet and she seemed to have jumped out of the way of him anyway. Brandy is like she has bricks on her feet, lol.

He's perfectly fine, just took a little bit to recover from the shock. I'm never keeping the cage door open like that again, that's for sure! Jeeez.

Mum's decided to leave North Side Express, where she's been working at for I think three years or more. David (Sarah's pop, the business owner) wanted to change Mum's hours from 10am - 2pm which didn't work for Mum.

She's made up her mind that she wants something knew. She went for a job interview yesterday, hope it works out! Sarah's sad that she's leaving. :(

Been playing around with our camera, trying to figure out the other settings (It's not an SLR, but "SLR-like" .__.), and I got some pictures of a pretty sunset on Sunday. :3

Also - RIP to all those taken by the VIC fires, and my warmest sympathies to all those affected. :( I have some friends and family (nan, pop, aunt, uncle etc.) in Victoria, but lucky the fires haven't touched where they live. At least I don't think so...Mum and Dad haven't contacted them. They've just been checking where the fires are hitting.

Happy New Year, dudes! Hope everyone had fun welcoming 2009. I celebrated it my usual way - watching the Sydney NYE broadcast on TV with the family, lol. ...I had Doritos and dip! Yum. Then sent new years texts to people, sat around for a bit and went to bed. x3 Hooray.

Not even going to *think* about resolutions. *sigh* Oyyy. v____v;;

Hmm...what to look forward to next year...

Well, my license expires in March, LOL! So I'll either have to rush to try to get my P's, or just pay for that extension thing again.

SuperOzCon in April. :DDD Should be like, the best. day. *EVER*. Lol. So excited. Except I'm kind of panicking about saving up the money for the airfares lol, I've turned into a major scrooge! *hoards money* We can save another $200 before April, right..?

I could even get a job *le gasp*! That would make my money issues a lot easier. But my fear of public transport kind of ruins that, lol. Hence I need my P's, stat! :| I don't like driving... .____.;;

Louie has settled in so great, it's a shock! Had him five days now. I have to keep telling me he's not a Cockatiel, and that he has a different temperament (and personality) to Roxie. Barely anything seems to faze him. :P

He's so freaking adorable! Already he's started to learn to laugh - I heard a pretty clear "hah hah!" from him today - although Danielle said it sounded like he was imitating Kookaburras (which are at the aviary we bought Louie from - in a big aviary out the back)

He had a bath two days ago, and one again today - so damn cute. :3 He's so soft and cuddly.:3 Naw.

We also got a few perches and stuff to add to his cage to help him a bit, because he keeps climbing to the top of his cage and squawking - either because he hasn't figured out how to climb back down yet and is stuck, or he's frustrated that he's at the top of his cage and can't climb any higher, lol. He flaps his wings sometimes too...maybe he wants to fly? One of his wings is clipped though, so that's impossible!

Holy crap, we got a Quaker Parrot LOL!

When we were getting ready to go out today, I thought it was just going to Camsal Aviaries to get the toys for the cage and stuff...we talked a little about either getting one from a breeder or Camsal Aviaries, though.

We went and got some perches and toys and stuff (and a calcium perch for Rox), and then Mum asked one of the guys at the store if we could see the baby Quakers! Lol. I got to hold one, he was so cute and let me pet him and everything. We ended up getting that one, haha.

The man at the store (lol fail, I don't know his name) told us they're about 9 weeks old, and "look like" they're all male except for one. We'll have to take him to the vet and do a DNA test to be certain, but I don't mind.

He seems to have settled in really well. After an hour after being put in his cage, he was going to sleep, hehe. So adorable.

We ended up naming him Louie. :3

Christmas was cool, we had the usual present opening, sending Christmas SMS's, playing with/checking out presents, a massive lunch, chillin' (lol), more playing with/checking out presents, and going back on the laptop, LOL.

And I of course had to take pictures of, like...everything. :P

We got awesome pressies this year (Mum got her books, and Dad got...socks! LOL. Well that's what he wanted!). :3 Our converse shoes, Twilight Movie Companion, makeup, Tomb Raider: Underworld (already finished lolz), toys for Missy, Brandy and Roxie, a really cool pentagram (petancle?) charm on a necklace (ala 'Supernatural'! :D) and some other goodies. n___n;; Soo spoiled, lol.

My gosh...I think we might be getting a Quaker! .____.;; I didn't expect to get one anytime soon - I never hounded or nagged Mum or Dad, just continued telling them some of the cute things other peoples Quakers have done. x3 We ended up buying a cage at Camsal Aviaries and looked at their young Quakers there, haha! n____n;;

Continuing with our hunt for bird shops, we visited two more stores that Danielle found on a directory - one in Elizabeth North, and another on Main North Road in Pooraka. We also checked out the pet shop at Paddy's Market - Mum loves that place!

The one at Eliz. North was...not very good in my opinion. Waayy to many birds (It is called 'Birds, Birds, birds'!) cramped in cages too small, shoved in every corner, stacked ontop of eachother...*shakes head* I mean, do they need that many?! I saw about six Rainbow Lorikeets, five Green Cheek Conures, two Quakers and Sun Conures...lots of finches, Indian Ringnecks...loads. Tiny Shop. Not good. :/

The Paddy's market one was nice, nice and cool too. There were some young Galah's for sale, we were looking at them when we noticed one lying on the bottom of the cage with it's wings out...I freaked out and was all "OMG, is it dead?! DDD;" but his tail was moving - it looked like he was struggling to get up. Mum got one of gals working there, she picked him up and sat him right in her hand...he was laying there all "O____o". She thinks he might have fallen and stunned himself. Dunno. Poor dude.

The store in Pooraka ('Gem Birds') was cool (...I mean good!), too. We were looking at all the different birds when a man working there asked if we needed any help. Mum told him we were sort of looking for a hand reared Quaker, and he told us "Well, this is the guy you want." and pointed to a little blue Quaker who was in a cage with three other hand reared cockatiels. He was telling us how if they're reared "the right way" they're really friendly and a great companion, etc etc. He got the little guy out of the cage and was cuddling right up to him! He seemed totally fine with him. I got to hold hiiimm. :D He was so adorable! I cuddled him and petted his head, hehe. We didn't buy him, though (...$475), but Mum got his card anywho.

Danielle suggested we might as well pop in to Camsal Aviaries so Mum could see the green ones (Mum said she prefered the green) at the store lol. They're adorable, as was Cheeky! (Pet store owners Quaker who's always there) We looked at the cages and ended up buying one and put it together at home. c: It's in the kitchen where the Christmas tree was. We need to get more toys and perches of course, but it's a really nice cage!

Gossshh. Excited. Except now we're fighting over names! xD Danielle and I had agreed on Felix when we were thinking about a name (hypothetically LOL) for our potential Lorikeet. Mum doesn't like it, and Dad keeps saying "Felix, Felix the cat!" -___-;; haha.

Mum wants to call him Minty. o_____o I don't like it loolll. But we've come up with Oscar (Ozzy!), Louie and Buddy (Mum agrees with that *cough Hawthorn footy player cough*) for a male, and Bella (Eh, eehh?), Izzy, Emi, Neela and Jada for a female. :3 I like Louie but Mum doesn't like that eitherrr! ><;; Lol.

It's nearly Christmas! Less than an hour ago. :3

We did the last of the shopping today (thank *GOD*!) which was just fruit and veg. Other than that, we're all set to go!

Some of our Christmas shopping was done in Rundle Mall last week and...eek. Craziness. And it's like everyone forgets their manners. They'll walk into you, cut you off, push you and not say a word. *sigh* But on a high note...Mum got us converse shoes! They're pretty cool. They're our Christmas present (although of course Mum said she didn't want us to only have *one* present lol -___-;;)! Mine are an awesome silver colour, and Danielle's are black. c:

We've also been getting Roxie out a lot lately.

Danielle and I have been reading a lot about bird behavior and all the stuff they need, and there's so much to learn! We've also been trying to find a way to stop her from plucking (she's chewed and plucked feathers from her wings and has now moved to her feat and her chest .___.) We haven't really been bathing her, she doesn't seem interested...that's something that can cause plucking, along with a bad diet (we feed her seed pretty much), not enough toys (she has two LOL), lack of sleep (continuous 12 hrs a night...) and some other things.

So she now has three toys for Christmas! Yay.

As I've been hanging outside a lot and taking lots (and *lots!*) of photos of Rainbow Lorikeets, Mum started to talk about getting one as a pet! So we went crazy looking up prices (hypothetically, of course...) and how to take care of them and such. That led us back to this pretty parakeet called the Quaker Parrot, that we were squeeing over a few months ago.

They're expensive (about $400 for a green at a pet shop - Roxie was about $85) though...but they're really intelligent and just seem so funny and cute! We've visited a lot of bird aviaries lately (and found more online to check out!), one of them just got a bunch of them in - so adorable.

We've been telling Mum about all these cute stories and such, she seems interested in getting one! We'll have to see though...they're really expensive. Although apparently it's cheaper (and better?) to get one from a breeder. We might look around next year. Fingers crossed!

Maybe Roxie could get a frieeennd. Though it might not happen after some things I've been reading about Quakers being jealous birds and such - I don't know.

Back on the subject of Roxie...it seems that she's actually...a *he!* It probably sounds so idiotic when you see photos of her - she's still a girl to me, it's stuck now! Roxie is a pearl white face.

As you can see, Roxie's the mutation that has removed the yellow and orange colour (whiteface), and the pearling, which she had when she was younger. Now, females keep their pearling after their big molt, the males loose them. Roxie doesn't have her pearl feathers anymore. Also, the female whitefaces don't have the whole painted white face. :/ Roxie does speak quite a bit as well (saying "Come on Roxie, come on!" "See ya Roxie" and recently learning "Ready Roxie, ready?" and "Good girl Roxie, good girl!").

I don't care, she's still just Roxie to me. <3 I got some new photos of the Rainbow Lorikeets today! And some Musk Lorikeets a few days ago. :D

Yaaay, home! Well I've been home since Tuesday, but I haven't gotten around to posting a blog, lol.

The Melbourne trip was awesome, though! Funny that of the four days that we were gone, two of them were just days of driving. O___o Like, eight hours of driving. It's fun though, it just gets a bit boring when it's just hours and hours of road and nothing else. We did see a lot of kites and hawks and things, though.

Our motel thing was...eh LOL. Guess we get what we paid for. We were right on a busy intersection (second floor of the motel) and the windows were really crappy, so we hear *every* car that drove by, including the damn crosswalk beeper thing! I'd be almost asleep at 12am, and then woken up at 6:30am by Mum LOL. It was alright, though.

Bathroooom. Our water was erm...tank heated, is it called? So we have to have 5/10 minute showers and then wait half an hour for the water to heat... .___.;;

The Twilight convention was SO! FUN! Holy crap. Awesomeness. It was cool gushing to people (Yes, I spoke to a few (maybe five? LOL) people!) about our excitement and what it was like meeting the actors. :3 One thing sucked. I FORGOT THE CAMERA! Gah. I could have asked Mum to get it and we would've picked it up, but I didn't. Ah well. :/

The audience's screams weren't too bad, they only came in short bursts haha. We made it about 10 minutes before 9am (we got a little late trying to find the right gate to go into and Mum was freaking out about the traffic/roads - it's crazy!) and let in at maybe...9:15am. The only real hiccup I noticed was that started about 45 or more minutes late, so everything was waaay behind. Other than that, it was amazing!

Edi, Taylor and Nikki were so great. Edi is hilaaarious! Taylor was just so cool, and Nikki is so gorgeous! And they're all so down to Earth. Loved all their Q&A's. It makes me even more excited about the SuperOzCon! <3 href="http://twilightorigina.free-forums.org/">Twilight Originals.net.

Photo taken with my mobile before anything started - we were in fourth row! A huge relief (a surprise actually) because we got our tickets probably...two weeks after the announcement. I realized I could have taken some photos with my mobile...hmm.

Lol eugh, slouchage. Someone on the Twilight Australia forum was saying that Taylor told them he doesn't do big smiles in all his photos because he gets a sore jaw. :P

On Monday we went to Melbourne Zoo! That was really great. It's *humongous* and I'd taken so many photos that near the end of our trip, I had to delete some to make room for more! That never happens at Adelaide Zoo...lol.

Favourite part had to be the Gorilla's, Orangutans and Siamangs! Adorable. Among many, many others. We got there about 10:15 am (walked there, it wasn't that far away) and got back around...4-ish? Well we were there a long time. I was still recovering from it three days later, LOL! Oh! And I got a toy Gorilla...heheh. Danielle got an Orangutan!

Alrighty! So Danielle, Mum, Dad, Sarah and I went to the Twilight Pre-Screening at the Tea Tree Plaza Hoyts Cinema (*breathes*) on Wednesday night! :D

We thought we'd go there a little early so we could eat and maybe do a little window shopping. I think we finished our food a little around 5:30pm (keeping in mind the movie would start at 7pm), and we'd seen a mob of about five girls with home-made Twilight shirts on, walking up the stairs to the cinema.

We were thinking we'd just go up there and get our tickets and have a quick walk around the shops, but...there was already a que of about...30 or so people in line! With one and a half hours until the movie! Jesus. So we got a place in line instead. Sarah hadn't come with us, she'd just passed her test that day (congrats!!!) and said she'd meet us there. By about 6:30pm I think they stopped letting people join the que, it was so damn packed! Sarah still hadn't arrived by then so I was freaking out, lol. We did get in there at around 6:50pm (people started moving, and screaming and pushing -me included, I'm losing my spot to *nobody!!*- ensued) and we saved a spot for Sarah.

She told us that the line went *out* of Hoyts and down the stairs to the food court! Seems like they ended up using two cinemas instead of one. Unless that was the original plan.

Our audience was actually pretty awesome! I was a bit worried about those teeny bopper, squealy type that I'd been reading about on the IMDb forums, but apart from the screams when the movie started and when Edward, Jacob and Carlisle appeared on screen, that was pretty much it. Also some of the direct quotes from the book, and Steph Meyer's appearance got some people squealing.

But I really enjoyed the movie! Of course there's some things I would have like removed (did we really need all that stuff with the nomads..?) and some things added/changed (Jacob telling Bella the vampire story, more info on the Cullens/vampires and the dang blood typing scene!). Apart from that, I really liked it. :D Definitely going to go see it again on the 11th! I like the crowed atmosphere (if they aren't being stupid and talking over the movie) and being able to hear everyone's reaction.

They were also handing out free Twilight posters! Pretty cool. I think they're about...is it, A3? size.

Off to Melbourne tomorrow! I'm really nervous haha, especially after the venue change. Melb Uni? I'm doomed! I hope they have signage, who knows where we'll end up otherwise...LOL. The building's pretty close to the main road we'll be entering, so it shouldn't be too bad...then again I could always get lost *inside* the building. O_____O;;

Still not sure if we'll be catching a taxi or driving to the Uni. It's pretty close, almost straight down one road from our apartment - Royal Parade I think it is. Mum says "Not sure, we'll see." :P I don't know if out apartment has internet, either...not that it'll kill me to stay away from it for a couple of days haha. It *does* say "wireless broadband" on the website for it. Egads, broadband?! 8D

Just down to the last thing like packing shampoos, deodorant, toothbrush etc. And that's it - we hit the road! :P 7am wake up too. .___.;;

Okay, so, I just got an email from Carissa (runs The Hub Productions) saying that the venue for the Twilight Convention has been changed from the Spring Street Theatre, to the Copland Theatre in Building 148 of Melbourne University. O___o

Lucky about two months ago we changed the hotel from just down the road from Spring Street to near the zoo, because now we're pretty close to the new venue, lol! The other hotel/motel/whatever didn't have any parking. Silly, I know.

It sucks for Mum now, because the old venue was right near a lot of malls and shops and whatnot. Mum was going to take a book and wonder around the shops all day while she waited for us, then catch one of the many trams to the spring street theatre again. So...she'll be catching a taxi now? xD u____u;; There were also cafes and stuff around...guess we'll be bringing snacks instead. Ah well.

Aaand I'll probably get lost! Dammit lol.

Also, the Rainbow Lorikeets have started coming back now! They eat the little nut thingies on our tree outside. I got a couple of good photos. But they're nowhere near as cool as the ones that I got last year. These are the old ones:

Hmm I haven't posted a blog in ages! Well... a month, right?

Updateage:

* Twilight is out in the US now! It's doing really well - much better than those stupid haters. Over, is it, $109 mil in two weeks? Yeeuh. It'll be released in Australia and Europe next Thursday, so it'll get more. :D Not bad for a $37 mil budget! Plus, New Moons in production and hopefully starts filming around March '09! :3

* Went to the Zoo about...two/three weeks ago. God, some people can be idiots. 'Nuff said. And Mum does *not* have enough patience, especially when it comes to waiting for me to look at/take pictures of the animals! Gosh. Spent half my time catching up to everybody. xD

* Also went to Waterfull Gully. Hadn't been there since we were little. It was nice, but the falls were kind of...dry. Haha. Didn't have much rainfall during winter. :c Damn drought. But we got awesome Koala pics!

* I have a cold! Haven't had one in a looong time. Probably two years... yeah? I don't know. Sucks, lol.

* Christmas is nigh! Sort of. I wish I had a job, dammit. Then I could have got people presents, with my own money. Also, a lot of games (among other things - like shoes, makeup, clothes...) that I have my eyes on. This low confidence thing is really sucky, lol. .___.;;

* Less than four days until our Melbourne trip! Where does the time go? Mum got suitcases out the other day. We're off food shopping tomorrow - per usual, but only for three days, and whatever it is Dad needs for meals (steak, steak and...oh, steak plz!) lol.

There's been changes with the guest for the Con, too. Kellan, replaced by Edi, and Ashley, replaced with Nikki. That made me sad. :'c Some of my favourite cast members couldn't come. But oh well. Taylor is the third guest too. c:

//Accommodation - Check!/

The Hub announced the venue for the SuperOzCon the other day! There's also a website with more information. It's a little bit out of the city, in the eastern suburbs. So it's lucky we didn't go ahead and get accommodation early, lol.

Mum found a place really close by, and booked a room for us! It's called The Randwick Lodge. It's about a ten minute walk from the Uni, with a mall close by as well. Pretty awesome! It has some nice pictures on it's website.

So accommodation is a check now. And we won't be paying for it until we get to Sydney. Now we just need the plane flights...though I only have $140, definitely *not* enough for flights to and from Sydney!

I (finally) did the online application at Coles and Kmart! Hopefully something comes out of that. c:

Oh man, listening to a song from Final Fantasy VIII (Waltz for the Moon lolz) is making me nostalgic! Might have to go play it, yet again...

It was Terrie's 20th birthday on Tuesday! Danielle, Sarah and I went to Elizabeth and met up with Terrie, and we saw Max Payne. It was alright. I didn't really get it, lol. And then we just walked around the shops a bit, had some food and chatted, and Sarah bought some clothes. It was good to hang out again. Almost like old times. Almost. :P

TwilightAustralia.net has been down the last couple of days! Meaning I haven't been able to check if The Hub (an employee posts on their forum with updates and whatnot) is any closer to announcing/getting an answer from the third guest! *twitches* Augh. Although, The Hub has been away in New Zealand the last couple of days, for another convention. Dammit, I hope it's Rob, and he says yes! That would be epic. xD

Mum got a card for a driving instructor and she said she's going to book some lessons for me. Eek! Nervousss. I think I've said it before, but when I go driving with Mum, it's just...driving. Like, I'm not following anything that the learner-book-thingy says, that the instructors check and whatnot. Hopefully I haven't picked up any bad habits or anything. >___<;;

Okay, got the receipt for the Supernatural con! Three day tickets, one photo with Jared, one photo with Jensen and an autograph with each, check. Next things to do are:

And then we're set, I think. I'm just worried about exactly we're supposed to *pay* for it. I mean...I can't afford plane tickets right now because I only have $140, and I know return flights to Sydney are over $200. Plus the accommodation could be about $200 a night as well. $___$!! Yeesh.

Also found out that the photos with the boys are now sold out! We have ours though, of course. Holy crap, the tickets haven't even been on sale for a week! I'm really relieved that we went ahead and got the tickets instead of "just getting the Twilight one over with first" like Mum suggested. Phew, lol!

I'm so nervous about traveling, I haven't been this far away from home without my parents, LOL! Airports just seem so damn confusing...even though I've been through them more times then I can count on two hands. -____-;;

I still haven't gotten around the submitting that resume to Coles lolll, procrastinating - that's (one of) my middle name! x3

Went out for some parking practice with Mum yesterday, too. Haha, my parking = fail! Gah. It's only the second time I've tried, so I'm of course not going to be great. ;P

I love free stuff lol, so when Mum home from a lunch with Lucy (a friend she met from work) yesterday with a bag of makeup that had apparently fallen off a truck, I was pretty happy! LOL. There was a lot of stuff! Lucy kept some for herself, and then gave us some to share amongst ourselves and give some to Sarah as well.

We got some nice Cover Girl foundation that seems to fit my skin colour, (it's pale and pink-ish, so I have trouble finding the right one with out going through one million different types!) that's pretty awesome! It's in both the powder and liquid one, so that's cooolll. And some mascara, eye liner and Mum has some creams and stuff. :P

Ohh OMG, Danielle and I were on Mum & Dad's computer (I used to share it with them when we didn't have the laptop) and we were looking through our old files. Apart from some really old saved MSN convo's, we found these reaallly old pictures from '05 where we were being silly, LOL. Take a look! (click for bigger version)

Just sent off the order form for three tickets to the Australia Supernatural Convention! YAYOMG.

So, after I read about the convention, I ran around in a tizzy because the con was only in Sydney (woaahhh rhyme-age). *Then* I sent a spazztastic email to Sarah telling her about the convention. I didn't expect to hear much about it from her (although she's a new Supernatural fan) because of how much it would cost...but then next thing I know, I get an email from her saying she'd go with us!

And after sending a reply, and an SMS to ask if she was 100% *sure* she wanted to go (didn't want to get my hopes up lol), she said she's 110% sure. x) And she rang to iron out some of the other details.

Seems like we'll be flying there on the Friday night (god I wouldn't be able to make a Saturday morning one), going to the con on the Saturday, and either flying back Saturday night, or Sunday morning. It'll probably be Saturday night because I wouldn't want to pay another night of accommodation LOL! *scrooge*

Sarah is coming over tomorrow to talk about it some more. :D The Hub will also be announcing what the venue will be, so then we could find some cheap-ish accommodation not too far away.

It'll be expensive...around $200-and-something for the flights, around $200 a night for accommodation...not to mention stuff like taxis, food, etc. Thank goodness it's next year, so I can save up! And hopefully have a job by then, that'd make it a lot easier to pay for.

After transferring the money from mine and Danielle's bank account (for the Supernatural con -photos and autographs included- and Twilight tickets) to Mum's, we have $150 (each) left over. LOL. T____T

Now I'm just waiting to get the receipt, which will probably come early next week...hopefully there will be tickets left, because the site announced that they'd run out of the Platinum tickets! They were $1400! Gosh! But other than that...

We played a couple games of Halo (I won all except one, which Daniel did xD), Mario Kart (far out I stink at that game), Super Smash Brothers Brawl (that game too -__-) and he gave us some Pokémanz, yay. I think they're copied ones...lol. He gave us a Mew, Celebi and Deoxy's. Woot!

Oh yeah, Krystal stopped by just as Daniel was leaving. Haven't seen her in a looong time. She's moved to Mount Barker, I think. We finally have her number now, lol. So that makes it easier to keep in contact with her.

You know, I'd refund my Twilight con tickets in a heartbeat if it meant going to the Supernatural one! Gah!

I heard Mum mumble that if I got a job she'd take us. LOL. *heads off to get job* Well, still, I'd have to get my P's first. I'll have to talk about it with Mum & Dad later. I thought it'd be expensive to go to Melbourne, but...Sydney? Yikes! $150 ($70 for twilight con) for a day ticket! Holy crap! Not to mention stuff like photos and autographs are up $10 each.

Speaking of Melbourne, we've got the whole hotel/motel thingy sorted out. It's this place called Darling Towers or something like that...yeah. 'self serving apartments' too. We discovered that while looking at other motels, they were all booked around the time we wanted to go! So we were panicking. But Mum rang up this place she found on the internet, and phew, we're all booked and ready to go now.

Also, the apartment thingy is right in the city! Like, we could walk over to the convention in probably about 20 minutes, which is awesome. Mum was worrying a bit because of the whole tram thing and the different road rules, but this will definately help.

And *still* no news on this third guest! I hope it's Rob. :D We're all waiting on you Rob, if it is you! xD

So, yay! I'm excited. Except the news of the supernatural con has kinda put a damper on it for me, lol.

So Jodie isn't coming to the convention. That's okay (though Danielle and I had a "D:?!" moment LOL), I just wished I'd bought the tickets a week earlier instead. Oh well. Hopefully it doesn't affect our seating too much. So Danielle and I are going on our own now. I got the confirmation email (I sent the form off on Sat I think) on...Tuesday I think.

Dammit I'm going to be so nervous meeting Ashley, Kellan and whoever the mystery third guest is. Having a friend is my safety net to meeting people! xDD I'll be all one word answers and trying to rush it so I can get it over with without embarrassing myself...LOL! Should be fine, though. Kellan and Ashley seem like really nice and upbeat people. I wouldn't mind a hug from Kellan either hahaha, apparently he gives good bear hugs! And if it was Robert that was going...lord help me. I'd be too nervous to speak. :|

And this way Danielle and I will just go halvies on a photo together with each actor, and get the photos signed together. And the rest of the money can go to Supernatural & Twilight merchandise! Gosh, I'm excited.

Not sure if Sarah's coming or not, yet. I'm getting impatient because I don't know how far ahead we need to book for the motel. Dx Because if she is coming, we'd be booking a motel one hour outside Melbourne, to fit four people. If she *isn't* coming, we'd book for the one inside the city. Though it'd be more expensive...plus I think they have a wheely bed thing for more people, so I don't know lol. We'll see, She's not sure if she can afford it, let alone get two days off work.

Better news though! Yesterday we *finally* got the Supernatural books (Season 1 & 2 companions, and 'The Supernatural Book of Monsters, Spirits, Demons and Ghouls')! Yaayyyy. Jeez, those took friggen for *ever*. And I think it's even the first delivery, which was sent in July! I thought that one was lost, and Amazon has another one coming...LOL. They said we can have it for free though. xP I've read the first companion, and it's pretty good. Lots of little tidbits and behind-the-scenes details, which I of course love! x)

Mum, Dad, Danielle and I also went for about a five hour drive on Sunday. I think we passed Semaphore, Moana, and this other place...can't remember the name. xD I suck at knowing where we are/went. Lots of pretty and interesting landscapes and stuff to see - makes me more excited for the Melbourne trip. :D

I'm Downloading the third episode of Supernatural now! =D Time travel, yay! It really looks awesome. I can't wait two weeks to see it here! Dx But I'll *try* not to download any more, I just have so much fun reading the Superatural IMDb board and I like to be up to date with episodes so I'm not spoiled. Ahh well.

But on to other things! I was on the Twilight Australia site the other day, and found out about an *Australian* (Melbourne and Sydney only, naturally. Melbourne would be the one we'd go to) Twilight convention happening in December!! Holy crap, I was so excited, I ran to Danielle's room (mind you, this was 1am haha) and was giggling like a fool, lol.

When we spoke to Mum and Dad about it in the morning, Mum was on a tirade saying how she couldn't get a day off during that time of the year. Dad said he didn't have a problem, he'd just take Monday off. But now Mum's taking us. I feel bad because it seemed that Dad wanted to go, but now he has to stay home with the dogs. We'll only be in Melbourne for three days though.

But yay, we're going!!

Danielle and I thought it'd be cool to bring a friend, and we thought about Sarah, but I really didn't think she'd be interested. Then we thought of Jodie, so I raced to write up and SMS and comment on her blog to ask, and wait ever so impatiently for her to reply. xD I want tickets ASAP!

At the moment Kellan (Emmett) and Ashley (Alice) are set to be going, and there's another undecided guest coming. I haasss to be Rob, please be Rob, lol.

It's expensive - $70 for a day pass, and as high as $750 for a platinum pass! Though that includes front seats, cocktail party and a breakfast with the guests among other things. The way we worked it out, if the three of us go and get autographs/photos it'll come to $220 - each.

And I read that they have merchandise stuff from other movies/tv shows - they even used Supernatural as an example! YAY. I'm hoping to get a big Supernatural poster, to replace my Anothony one. Sorry, Anth! And a Twilight one too. Sorry (captain!) Jack Sparrow, lolll.

Danielle was looking at motel stuff today, and Mum came and helped afterward. A lot of the stuff around the city (one was almost on the same road as the con) are around $350 a night, which we knew was too pricey for us.

Now we've got our eyes on a motel about an hour outside of Melbourne for $165 a night, and fits six people. Better than the $13 backpackers place Danielle pointed out, lolll. The motel is just around the corner from one of our old houses! Not that I remember it, we were just babies then.

Right now it sounds like we'll be leaving Friday arvo, Saturday we'll be doing stuff around Melbourne, Sunday is the Con and we'll leave on Monday.

I got an email from Sarah today saying that she's going to try to come with us. First I was like "What?! With Jodie? Talk about most awkward trip, ever! Gosh, is Jodie going to want to come now?! *panics*" Haha. Just...what. I didn't even really know she knew about it, so it shocked me that all of a sudden she's coming with us...

I don't know if Mum asked or not, but when she came home she was saying how she thought Jodie wasn't coming (dunno why she thought that, we haven't got a straight yes or a no yet) and that she wanted some company when she did other stuff while we were at the con, which I understand. I just think the drive will be awkward, but we'll see.

I don't mind them both coming, squishy in the car though, and the luggage...that's the though part.

It'd also make the travel (petrol will probably cost $300 all up) and accommodation a heck of a lot cheaper, 5 people paying and all. Plus Sarah always seems to keep things light and bubbly. c:

I'm hoping both of themcome, actually. Mum's being nice enough to drive us there, she might as well have some company while she has to wait around for us.

Ohoh, I completely forgot about the independant film Jensen filmed back in '07, called 'Ten Inch Hero'. I was on YouTube and I came across the trailer and a clip from the movie. Woaaah, the big 2-0 today. *clings to teens* Don't leave meee! Not that I really mind getting older, it's that it's been *two* damn years since graduating high school and nothing's changed. At all. Two job interviews and no job. Wow. *sigh* =/ Enough with the emo-ness, but today was a pretty good day. It was pretty much the same as usual, except for some b'day SMS's/messages and some b'day cars from Mum & Dad and Paula, Ness & Kim. Nan & Pop's arrived with the mail later. This will probably end up being an epic-ly long blog, lol.

So Danielle and I went to our job interview at Blockbuster. We spoke to Kerri (who I think is the manager) who's really bubbly and cool, and she gave us (separately of course) some sheets of paper with some questions. Some were about money ("if *so and so* had *so many dollars* and bought *so many things* how much change would there be?") which I totally blanked out for since I was so nervous (calculator, plzkthx!) and took me ages to do, LOL.

Then we went and sat in the office with Kerri and answered some questions. Turns out there were two jobs available now, and one would have more hours than the other. (oh and she's a fan of Supernatural! *awesomeness*)

I know I did better than the maccas interview, at least. It helped that I sort of knew the people there, since I've seen them at Blockbuster a lot, lol. And they're so happy and nice there, whereas the person who interviewed me at McDonald's wasn't really and it made me even more nervous lol. I can't help iitt!

We were told we'd be meeting with two other ladies working there if we got a call back for another interview as well.

Which we did! That was cool. So on Monday we went back and met with the two other ladies (Can't remember their names for god sakes -__-;;) and they told me not to worry about being nervous since they're nice and don't really know what they're doing LOL. So I think I did okay there...I think. I was asked if I'd mind doing stuff like cleaning and restocking (why would I?) and stuff like that. They said we'd get a call later in the week to know what was going on.

I think it was...Thursday? We both got a call saying we didn't get the job. :c *sigh* I so wanted the job. It's so close to home (about a 15 min walk) and the people are so damn nice! I emo'd out for a bit after that, lol.

I'm guessing it didn't help that I'm not exactly EXPLODING WITH ENERGY, CONFIDENCE AND ENTHUSIASM!!1! and that I hadn't had a job before. How the bloody hell and I supposed to get a job then, huh?! U___U Boo hoo.

I lent our Supernatural season 1 box set to Sarah this week, yayz! She came over on Saturday and we played some more Halo (I won a few games, wow! Since when do I beat Sarah at Halo? o.0) and I lent her season 2 since she'd finished the first. Woot.

Oh, did I mention our season 3 box set was delivered? That had to be the quickest ever! It only took a little over a week (got it last week). =D I've watched it all now. Sooo either I'll lend season 3 to Sarah, or we'll have some kind of marathon. xD YAY.

The delivery before this one still hasn't been delivered yet! What the hell. Mum emailed Amazon and they refunded our postage and handling and asked us to wait until October 1st, when something-or-other expires. It's just books for goodness sakesss. :/

Ohohoh aaand Season 4 started on Thursday! Danielle found a YouTube version since we would never be able to download the HDTV versions with our measly 4GB bandwidth. :'c Still nearly 100MB though *winces*. I was EPIC though. Hoooly crap I love it (but what about Kristy!Ruby, hmm? :/ *reserves judgment...for now*). And it got its best ratings since season 1, or something! Yayyy.

When Sarah came over on Saturday she watched it with us, and I think she enjoyed it! Mum refuses to watch it because of how small the video is, which sucks because I want to talk to her about iiitt. *pout* I'll keep trying though. ;P

Danielle and I went to the shops with Mum and we bought the new PC game, Spore! Played it all last night, haha. It's pretty awesome. Except I have little to no creative skills so my alien dudes look pretty dodgy! xD

We went to Blockbuster on the way home, and Kerri (one of the ladies who works there and we see a lot) told us that she'd seen our resume's and we were two of the people she's meeting for a job interview and she wanted to know when we're available for one. So we have an interview at Blockbuster next Tuesday! *dies* Separate of course, lol.

Let's hope I don't do as bad as I did at Maccas. I'm so nervous around people I don't know, I just gave one word answers LOL. At least I've met Kerri before, she's seems like a really nice and friendly lady. c: And I'd love to be able to work there since it's only about a 10/15 minute walk away.

So I don't want to wait an extra month and pay all the money extra as well. So I ordered it from Amazon! It's about $56 US all up with postage and handling, which was about $66 Australian. Yay, money save-age! Lol. And it should arrive around the time of my birthday (gahhh), woot.

And...the Supernatural season 1 & 2 companions (and some other SPN book) should be arriving soon, dammit. It was ordered at nearly the end of July, so hopefully it'll be here soon. :/

Mum had a go on Halo 3 with Danielle on the weekend. Haha...lots of "Stop it, Danielle! Ohhh! Look up, no...up! *frustrated noise* Ohh! I suck at thiisss!" Aww, hehe. She said it's too complicated and she's used to the good 'ol joystick, LOL. And, dude, I've had years of playing (and being pwnd) this dang game...lol. I downloaded some songs from the game (love me some soundtracks!), there's this one on the menu called...Unforgotten, I think. I love it, makes me feel sad though. :c Haha.

Mum, Danielle and I went to Sarah's for a little while, too. I brought my controller so we could play some Halo with her. I won one game! D: *victorious pose* Not sure if that's happened before...haha. Danielle and I have been playing together a few times, so that's obviously helped. Well! WB decided to move Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from November 21 08, to July 09. I got this from MuggleNe t:

Another month since I made a blog...well not much has happened, really. Danielle seemed to have got it all on her blog, though. :P Including new pics with Lucky! Look how much he's grown, nawwh.

What else...oh! Mum & Dad got us an XBox 360 early for our birthday. .____. I feel bad because Danielle and I were just going to buy it with our own money, but they said they'd get it for our birthday. The deal that was going on at the local game store seemed good, except it ended mid August, so they said they'd get it for an early present, lol...

It came with Halo 3, Assassin's Creed and Gears of War. Halo 3 was the main reason Danielle and I wanted to get it, haha. We were having so much fun playing it at Sarah's, we wanted to get it! It's so funnn. I'm horrible at it, but oh wellll.

Danielle's been playing Assassin's Creed, too. It's a pretty good game. I mean as in, the graphics and how it actually plays. I'm still now following the storyline...since I don't know much about what happened in the 12th century, lol. Haven't played Gears of War yet.

Also, Breaking Dawn. Ahhh I was so excited. Except we didn't pre-order it...and when we went to our local A&R, they didn't even have the delivery yet! So we panicked and went to/called up some other stores, they didn't have it either. We pre-odered it there though, and they called around 3-ish when they had it, and we'd got our own copy by about 3:30pm.

I finished it on...Wednesday or Thursday...can't remember LOL. I still don't really know what to think. Something seemed off to me. Wether it was the characters, or the way it was written...I don't know. Guess I just need to read it again.

I changed the layout, too! I got the html from Danielle though, thank you LOL! I just changed the colours and a few things. I'm not sure about the header. It's just a pic I took from a zoo trip ages ago and played around with it...kind of...wintery? -__-'

Okay, so, I thought I'd make a new blog instead of making the other one huge-ishly long lol.

Today Mum, Danielle, Dad and I went to the Warrawong (I hope I spelt that right...) Wildlife Park! Our internet usage is past 50% (what with Jared Padalecki coming to Australia and all I was getting as many photos as I could, LOL!) and we have to wait until the 25th of July to get more bandwidth lol, so we thought it'd be go to go out and do something!

The weather wasn't too bad, I was really cold when we first got there though haha.

It was pretty nice there. We saw (mostly heard) lots of birds, Kangaroos, Wallabies, pretty flowers, lots of moss/trees/ferns (lol) and even some ringtailed possums! Never seen one of those in 'real life' before. So cute. One was in a box thingy and we only saw it's back, and the other one was sitting in a low tree, eating leaves! So I got a few pics pretty close. So cute. c: There are Koala's and I think...two? Platypus there too I think, but we didn't see any. :c

* Danielle & I switched rooms! Well not really me, just Danielle hehe. I'm still in the same room, Danielle's just moved into the little one. We just wanted our own room again, haha. Augh, boredom sucks. Which leads me to update my blog! Haven't updated in a while (again). Let's dot (asterisk?) point!

* MTV Movie Awards. Anybody watch it on MTV? Well you should have, because it was awesooome! The Pre Show had a clip from Twilight, which was really cool. Got to see Rob and Kristen too. n___n

* I read Stephenie Meyer's new book - The Host. Great book! Really enjoyed it.

* Saw Terrie when I hung out at Sarah's! Hadn't seen her in yonks, so it was great to catch up. c:

* Ordered the Iron Man and Beauty & the Beast soundtracks from Amazon! Mum got a doughnut book too, lolll. We make doughnuts with Mum's breadmaker that she got for her birthday. xD Nomnom!

* Supernatural is FINALLY back on TV! Oh boy, sososo happy. The first ep was on Sunday ("Ghost, Ghostfacerrrs!" xD Loved it), three more eps to go! I got spoiled on what happens at the end...on an aussie forum, too. Thanks, people! -__- Oh well.

* We got a new plasma (plasma, right? LOL!) TV in our spare room! Dude, we're spoiled. Mum was nagging about us never knowing what we want for birthday/Christmas presents and we jokingly started raving about the PS3 and that we don't have a high def TV...and a few weeks later, there ya go. Haha. ^^;;

'Tis awesome though, Dad hooked it up to the laptop and yes...good stuff. Pic! Reading an email from Sarah there...haha.

* Michael. Bublé. Concert. Zomgz. Totally amazing! We just went Monday night. His support act - Naturally Seven, were amazing! They do this thing they call "vocal play", where they do all their songs a capella, except they use their voices in place of instruments (guitar, base, drums etc), really awesome. You could heard the shock and awe in the crow when they got their applause! They're great singers, too.

And of course, Michael was amazing too. This is only my second concert and I have to say I had a lot more fun than at Anthony Callea's concert back in 2005. For one, I could hear what he was saying (no teenyboppers here!), and also, there were screens on the side of the stage (difference between Thebarton and the Entertainment Center, maybe?) so we could see him up close. We weren't that far away (the place was sold out!), which was cool too. It was just so much fun. He's a great entertainer, and so sweet and funny! Check out my crap-tastic pictures! (Taken with my phone - God I wish we'd brought our camera..! *sobs*) I also recorded a bit of him singing 'Everything' on my phone - which is also crap-tastic.

Almost, since I last posted anyways.

Lets see...well I've read some more books lately. This series called "The Fire Within" which is pretty cool. It's kind of for children LOL, then again, isn't Harry Potter? There's four books at the moment, and I think a fifth is scheduled for next year...not really sure. Danielle saw them in K-Mart and rememered reading them in primary school, heheh. I've just started to read the fourth. c:

We also finally have our books from Amazon! They came about two weeks ago: the third of the House of Night series, and two of the Vampire Academy books. I haven't read those yet! xD Oh, and we got Stephenie Meyer's new book - The Host! I haven't read that either (*fail*) but Danielle has, and she said it's pretty good!

I haven't gotten to those books yet because I've started Final Fantasy XII again! A few months ago Daniel lent us his FFXII walkthrough book (he doesn't have the game - go figure!) and I only just started playing it again last week (I think that was when I started it...) I got stuck ages ago, and I'm happy to say I passed that spot not! Yay. xD Though I don't think the game even comes close to the awesomeness that is FFX(2) and FFVIII. There's not enough cutscenes with characters interacting with one another - I don't have much of an emotional attachment with them for that reason. And there's not much back story. Although, I love the graphics and the battle system! *thumbs up* Except Quickenings = Pain in the ass. Dx For me anyways.

What else...oh! Oh! Last week (Saturday) Dad, Mum, Danielle and I went and saw the Iron Man movie. Augh, I loved it. So much that Mum, Danielle and I went again today, LOL! Dad was like "What! Again?!" Haha. Yeah, Dad! I think it's a great movie. And now I have got to get the soundtrack, darn it! I'll end up having to get it from Amazon like the Transformers one... *has downloaded some already though* ^^;;

I am also very peeved that Supernatural isn't back on TV yet...damn it channel ten! The US got the new episodes like, two/three weeks ago. I need my Dean/Sam fix! Smallville's still on, so I'm okay, lol.

Lots of Twilight stuff has been happening, I can't even list everything. The official site (twilightthemovie.com -- Go theeere) is up with the Teaser Trailer that came out a week or so ago on MySpace! That's the main thing. <3 And I do. not. like. the synopsis they put on there. "mortal enemies" psshhh.

Um...oh yeah, we went to Sarah's again on Monday. Haven't been since a few days after I posted those pictures, I think. So Lucky's noticeably bigger now! I'll put some up. c:

Went to Sarah's house a few more times this week. Took a camera one of those times too, to get better pics! For something completely different, Season 7 of Smallville started on Ten HD today! Woot. Saves me having to download episodes. We started watching all our Smallville box sets from Season 1, and we just got up to season 4 today. Phew.

Mum's only seen up to parts of season 5, so when we watched the new ep today, she was very confused, to say the least. xD Mum wants to have a Smallville marathon now, LOL! Three seasons to watch until next Thursday! Hmm, don't see it happening, haha.

Oh! Danielle's gone back to wearing glasses now. We went to the optometrist on Monday, and she picked some cool frames and got her prescription (is that right? Wtf I have no idea) thingo, which they told us will be ready in two weeks. U__U Lol.

Far out! There's so many set pictures (and even videos) coming out, I can barely keep up! And it's making me even more impatient for the movie to come out. I've never followed to making of a movie this closely before, not even Harry Potter! *gasp* Lol. But yeah, it's really awesome.

Aaand tomorrow some 'Twilight Moms' that went on the set today are going to post photos tomorrow! Apparently one of them is a photographer, so the pictures are bound to be awesome! They weren't able to post them tonight unfortunately, so we just have to wait. :P

Fudge, it's been so hot lately!

I think Adelaide made some kind of record in Australia for a heat wave...something about 11 days of over 35 degree heat. Yay for us! Did I read it was 42 here today! Bah! It's too dang hot to do anythiiing. U__U And I'm bored, dammit! But apparently Sarah is coming over on Sunday, so that's good. n__n

Okay, so, Danielle and I bought the 6th season of Smallville recently, so we've been watching that these last couple of days. I forgot how much I enjoy that show, lol. But I'm so impatient for new episodes that I've started downloading episodes of Season 7! (I promise I'll buy the boxset when it comes out!) I've only been able to get two episodes so far, and they take aaaages to download. I can only download them when we've run out of bandwidth, too. So I have three more days to download to my hearts content, before we got more bandwidth. :P

Oh yeah, I downloaded my favourite episodes from Season 3 of Supernatural, too. Bad Day At Black Rock and Mystery Spot. Now I have them on my iPod, yay! I uploaded a video of my favourite part from the first ep - here it is! Bahaha, Dean rocks.

And yeah..that's all I've been up too, heh. ^^;; I gotta find something to amuse myself for the next *checks download* 40 or so minutes until I get part 1 (there's four parts) of the third episode from Smallville. This has to be the millionth time I've tried to download it. >.< It'll stop and just say it's finished, when it's only a little past the 60/70/80% mark. *shakes fist at download*

I'm just bored, plus I found this awesome video. xD Well it is if you like Supernatural, anyways. Spoiler! Don't read ahead if you don't want any spoilers whatsoever (no matter how small, lol) on this episode. :]

The video is from the Season 3 episode Mystery Spot (one of my favourite eps now!), where Dean and Sam go check out this place called the "Mystery Spot" where a man was last seen...or something.

Well the episode turns out to be very much like the movie Groundhog Day (I haven't seen it in forever so I can barely remember, but this guy's day repeats over and over until he admits to his girlfriend that he loves her...I think) in the fact that poor Sam's day is repeating over and over ("Heeeaat of the moment"). The one majoorr difference being that Dean dies, and the day starts again. So yeah. This video is of some of the funnier "deaths" of Dean! <3 here.

Okay, so, I've been wanting to change my blogger layout for ages, I just didn't know what to do. And last weekend I was playing around in photoshop, and just made a little image as a title to go as my background (same as my MySpace page).

So...I have no idea about HTML, LOL. I searched google today, and finally found something, and now I have my own background! Yay. Not very original or whatever, but eh.

Yeah...I like the background but I want the sidebars to be kinda translucent. You know what I mean? 'Coz I think the text looks kinda funny...and I have no idea how to do what I want, LOL. Any heeelp? It would be greatly appreciated! Haha. c:

'Coz if I remember rightly Edward didn't find any of her Vampire jokes funny, lol. I dunno...

Okay, so, I went to the Adelaide Zoo with Danielle, Jodie, Jason and his girlfriend Alisha on Wednesday for Jodie's birthday (which is today, Happy Birthday! xD). I was pretty cool, I love the zoo so much. I usually go once or twice a year, lol.

It was a fun day, we took the train to Adelaide and got there around 2pm-ish, and we go to the Zoo around 3pm, lol! Okay...so we got a bit (a lot) lost, haha. We made a mad dash around and got to look at most of the animals, though we still missed quite a few. We didn't get to see one of my favourite animals, the African Painted Dog. :c *sniff* We found a much, much shorter way on the way back though, which was good.

It was good 'cause it was a cool, overcast day, so the animals weren't hiding from the usual aussie summer heat. :P I actually got to see the Tiger moving around - a first! And the leopard's enclosure was all fixed up and pretty. Andand I love the monkeys there, they're so fascinating and gorgeous. xD I loved watching the Siamang's and Gibbons. <3>some, even though there's quite a few here - I took a lot more than this, haha) Sorry for the quality, I accidentally saved most of them as gif files in Photoshop when I re-sized 'em. Hope you like! :3

Phew. All I've been doing these last few days - pretty much, is reading! xD Mum bought them a few days ago. I started them...Wednesday? And just finished about two days ago. They're a book series (three at the moment, becoming four later this year! Can't wait T^T) called Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer.

It's mainly about a girl and a vampire that fall in love. ;P So yeah, there's a lot of mooshy stuff, but they're really awesome books. n___n It's not all mooshy too, there's scary bits and funny bits and stuff like that too, hehe. It's cool 'coz the book is set in a real town in Washington, USA. I went on Google Earth and had a look around (can't see much though >.>) there, haha. There's a pic that I saw, and I swear, it's exactly like a place I imagined in the book. Awesomenesss. xD

The first book should be out as a movie later this year! (I hope) How exciting haha.

I listened to my iPod a lot when I was reading the books, playing a playlist with Linkin Park, Chris Brown and The Veronicas. Now whenever I hear some of the songs, I get flashes off parts in the book, haha. Does anyone get that? Like, songs that remind you movies or stuff like that? c:

I went driving again today (same drive to Semaphore) and I felt crap after it loool. There was a part where I needed to merge onto a road from a slip lane thingo and I was like, *OMG* waiting for a break in the traffic and I drove up the gutter LOL. It's kinda funny looking back now...but at the time I was like "Ah! ...S-Sorrrry! ...*cries*" Haha, man it scared me ahah, I had to stop at a petrol station and I was like "I SUCK!!! *cries*" xD . I'd been making mistakes before that... so me being me, who has to do everything right the first time, got really frustrated and upset for not driving awesome-lyyy. =P So yeah, haha.

Oooh it's Sarah's 19th this Saturday! Gotta find something to get her...I think Mum, Danielle and I are gunna go to Caffé Primo (is that how they spell it..? :S) for lunch with her. c:

I dunno want to do about a job...I wanna work at the shops just down the road, so I don't have to catch public transport to get there, I can just walk then, haha. ><;;

Haven't updated in a few days, huh? =P

I've actually gone out these last few days, which is awesome. xDDD Last Wednesday Danielle, Jodie and I went to Rundle Mall to go see Shin Tokyo's new shop and buy some stuff's! n___n The sale that was on was for members only it turned out, but I bought a membership there anyways and got the sale price. x) Danielle and I bought a Chobits and Final Fantasy X-2 soundtrack, Chris Brown's album and some Jay Jay's jewelery.

We invited Jodie back to our place (ended up staying over ahah) and we listened to our new CD's, flicked through old backup CD's, played Mario Party 8 on the Wii (Jodie won D:< style="font-style: italic;">I didn't xD) played Project Zero 3. Danielle and I bought it...maybe a year ago? But we've been too scared to play past the first few minutes LOL, pretty sad. But I watched them play that for a while until Jodie was picked up by her Mum and Dad. A good couple of days. c:

On Friday we went to Designer Direct and got a new bed set, thing! Lolyay. It's called "Osaka", and it's a cool burgundy colour. I saw a really cool cream one with bamboo or something on it, and some Japanese/Chinese writing, but cream isn't a good idea to have on my bed, ahah. Not with our dogs constantly walking/licking/sleeping on it, lolz. Oh well.

On Saturday Mum, Dad, Danielle, Jodie and I went and saw I Am Legend. I didn't like iittt! >.<>I didn't yay. xD I have a list on our white board of what movies I wanna see, lol! The Golden Compass, The Water Horse, 27 Dresses and Jumper. x)

Ohhh oh! I went driving to Semaphore on Monday! Got 2 hours extra in my booklet now, only 12 hours left! n____n Gotta say though, it was one of the most comfortable times I've been driving, and one of the most stressful. xDDD Bahah. Because of this road that had apparently been totally changed, and I ended up in a turn only lane...and I had to find a place to do a U-turn...gah! But I made it home safely loolll. xD I can't wait to have my P's so I can go out whenever I want and not have anyone to depend on to drive me anywhere. c: Paying for petrol would be a problem though, since I don't have a job! xD

Didn't end up going to Tamika's party. Sarah rang around 6-ish asking me if I knew who was coming, (didn't have the faintest) and we chatted for a while and she said she'd be coming soon. As soon as she hung up I noticed I had an SMS from Tamika saying the party was canceled because they're weren't enough people coming. How poo!

But after all that, Sarah came over and we just gossiped, listened to music and looked around a few websites until Greg picked her up around 10:30pm. xD We took pics though! It was a good night.
